Andrew will once again be participating in North Yorkshire Open Studios, this year he will be based back in his studio in the bait shed on Scarborough's West Pier.
During the weekends of 11/12/13 & 19/20 June, artists and makers across the whole of North Yorkshire will invite the public into a host of intriguing spaces. From hidden locations on the North Yorkshire Moors and harbourside huts in Whitby and Scarborough to suburban living rooms in Harrogate and beautiful back gardens in the remote Yorkshire Dales.
Andrew will be exhibiting work from his year spent as artist in residence in Rosedale.
The exhibition will feature new work created by six artists during residencies in North Yorkshire and will take place at the Mercer Gallery in Harrogate between 12 June and 18 July.
Work by artists in residence at North Yorkshire heritage sites: Fiona Bowley at Studley Royal, Serena Partridge at Harrogate Museums, Lynne Glazzard at Whitby Museum, Tessa Bunney at Newby Hall, Andrew Cheetham in Rosedale and Jackie Hunt at Malham Tarn.

An exhibition inspired by the heritage of Rosedale Abbey on the North Yorkshire Moors takes place in the remote location of the Updale Reading Room, Rosedale on the 5th and 6th December.
Artist Andrew Cheetham has spent a year exploring Rosedale and the surrounding moors. He has been documenting the remains of the Iron Ore Mines and rows of cottages along with the marker stones and trods of the moors. He has also been working on paintings of the landscape capturing the effects of the changing seasons.
Andrew has added a new gallery of images from his year as Artist-in-Residence in Rosedale.

Andrew will be exhibiting work at the Masham Arts Festival in St. Mary's Church, Masham, North Yorkshire.
The Festival takes place from 23rd October to 31st October 2009.
