In September 2007 Andrew was commissioned by The Friends of Scarborough Art Gallery to produce a painting to celebrate The Gallery's 60th Anniversary.
The resulting painting, North Bay, will be officially unveiled and hung by group chairman Paul McCabe on 24th September.
Mr McCabe said: "The Friends are absolutely delighted with North Bay. You can almost feel the sea spray coming off the waves. Andrew was inspired by Paul Marny's painting Scarborough from White Nabb, which is in the gallery's permanent collection. We are sure this new work will also delight all the gallery's visitors."
Andrew's preliminary work for the painting, and the painting itself, will be on display at the gallery until December 21 2008, after which the painting will be added to the permanent collection.
